Hope

Hope. What is it? Hope. Why is it important?

We say it but do we know it?

It is easy to move our lips

and let out sound.

It is easy to make a dream

out of a cloud.

But do we know how to hope for it?

Do we know how to keep that hope alive?

How many times we falter in our dreams

because hope has gone

and died?

Although hope and faith are connected

they are not the same!

Faith is the conviction that lies within belief and

HOPE,

is the desire in constant longing.

Does that desire ring on through

Storm and winter?

Do we call it up only in peril?

Why do we not cling to it stronger in the good?

For if it can stand in the midst the angry waves, surely

It will stand underneath the sunshine in valleys of peace,

for it is there that hope is found, fulfilled, breathed

lived.

It is there that we discover what hope really is.
